Gavin Rossdale: Kingston's a Little Bit Jealous of Zuma!

September 22, 2008

Gavin Rossdale says his newborn son Zuma is "fantastic. Really good."

And growing up - fast.

"He's counting backwards from 10, which is pretty impressive," Rossdale joked to Usmagazine.com Sunday at Jane Goodall's sixth annual Roots & Shoots Day of Peace.

Rossdale added that his two-year-old son Kingston is still getting used to being an older brother.

"Kingston thinks he's all right and is getting used to him," he said.

Any jealousy?

"I think at first there was probably a little concern that [Zuma] might be staying over!" said Rossdale. Meanwhile, wife Gwen Stefani "is feeling on top of the world," he said. "We went to a wedding yesterday for my manager's daughter. It was a lot of fun."

Charlie Sheen and Wife Brooke Mueller Expecting Their First Child

August 25, 2008

Charlie Sheen and his wife, real estate investor Brooke Mueller, are expecting their first child together.

"Brooke and I are thrilled! She's the best stepmom Sam, Lola and Cassandra could ever hope for," Sheen, 42, tells Usmagazine.com, referring to his daughters Sam, 4, and Lola, 2 (with ex-wife Denise Richards), and Cassandra, 23 (with ex-girlfriend Paula Profitt).

Sheen adds, "Seeing her love and affection with those three, I know she'll be an amazing mom. Unless I bat 100%, perhaps a boy awaits us."

The two met in 2006 through Eric Dane and actress Rebecca Gayheart.

Sheen popped the question last summer with a $500,000 custom-designed 11-carat yellow diamond and platinum ring from jeweler Lord Alon Barak.

They wed in front of about 60 close friends and family in a small ceremony in Beverly Hills on May 30.

"We're happy, and we're having fun," Sheen told Usmagazine.com of married life on August 17 at the 2008 ALMA Awards. "We're having a ball. I'm the luckiest guy in the world."

Asked if they're planning to have kids, he told Us, "Yeah, we are definitely. And we're probably not going to stop at one!"

In June, they shot down reports that they were expecting.

"Doesn't mean it's not part of the plan," Sheen told Extra. "It's just not happening as we speak."

What does their "plan" include?

"Hopefully triplets!" Mueller, 31, said. "Could you imagine if I really had triplets? He'd be like, 'Whoa!'"

Idol Producer: Simon Cowell "More Ditzy" Than Paula Abdul

May 2, 2008

Paula Abdul accidentally critiqued two songs by contestant Jason Castro on Tuesday's show, but Idol producer Nigel Lythgoe says the show's real flake is Simon Cowell.

"There's no one more ditzy than Simon!" he told Usmagazine.com Thursday at the BAFTA Comedy Awards in L.A. "Or more ass-y than Simon when he wants to be. Depends on the night."

Meanwhile, Idol executive producer Cecile Frot-Coutaz says Abdul isn't going anywhere after her on-air gaffe Tuesday. "Why would we get rid of Paula?" she said to the Associated Press. "It wasn't her fault" producers decided to change the judging format, Frot-Coutaz added.

With Abdul sticking around, that means there will surely be more banter between her and Cowell.

"Simon and Paula love each other," Lythgoe told Us. "[This week], for some reason, they hate each other's guts! We don't know why they're as dysfunctional as they are."

VIDEO: Teri Hatcher: Singing on Idol Was "Nerve-Wracking"

April 10, 2008

It wasn't easy for Teri Hatcher to get up on stage and perform Carrie Underwood's "Before He Cheats" on Wednesday night's Idol Gives Back special.

"Singing on Idol Gives Back ... now that was nerve-wracking!" Hatcher told Usmagazine.com after taping her performance Sunday.

Her Desperate Housewives costar James Denton played the guitar. "She's brilliant," he raved to Us. "She did Cabaret on Broadway -- people forget that she's a great singer!"

Hatcher said Denton had a hand in picking the song. "Jamie texted me and said, "I just heard this song, and I think it would be great for you,'" she told Us.

"And not 10 minutes earlier, my daughter and I had heard it on the radio, and she said to me, "You'd be really good at this song!'" Hatcher added. "So I told Jamie, 'It was really weird that my daughter said the same thing, so I guess that's what we should sing.'"

After her performance, Underwood came out on stage and congratulated her.

Said Hatcher, "She was very sweet. I didn't put her on the spot or anything!"

Pregnant Minnie Driver: Due in August!

April 7, 2008

Summer will be especially sweet for mom-to-be Minnie Driver.

"My due date's in August!" she revealed to Usmagazine.com Saturday night after performing a set from her new album Seastories at Hotel Cafe in Hollywood.

"I haven't wanted to eat as much food as I think I want to eat!" she added when asked about her cravings. "I'm not as hungry as everyone told me I'd be."

During her set, she told the crowd the toll her pregnancy had taken on her body.

"I've lost my balance -- my boobs and my stomach [are huge], and you can't wear high heels unless you weight your bottom or something," she said.

"I'm sure you're all dying to know what it's like to be pregnant!" she added, joking that she planned to go on Oprah and share all the details. (See more baby bumps here.)

Driver told Us she hoped her pregnancy wouldn't get in the way of her touring.

She said she still plans to hit "France, Germany, Norway, Switzerland and England -- and I'm going to do a movie with Uma Thurman!

"I'm really hoping I've got the stamina, but ... I know how to take care of myself."

Heidi Montag & Spencer Pratt to Make Video Game

February 20, 2008

Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt have more than just music in the works.

"We're definitely developing the Heidi and Spencer video game," Pratt told Usmagazine.com last week at video game giant Electronic Arts' Burnout Paradise pre-Valentine's Day lounge in L.A.

Pratt, who said he is collaborating with EA on the game, told Us, "it's top secret. Let's just say that everyone will be addicted."

Good news to those who love-to-hate The Hills pair: "You can definitely play as us or you can play against us," Pratt said. "You can even torture me."

He said "there's going to be two versions: the adult version and the one for minors," adding, "just be ready, that's all I have to say."

Expect the game to hit shelves in 2009, Pratt said, "right around Christmastime, probably."

EXCLUSIVE: American Pie Star Jason Biggs Engaged

January 30, 2008!

American Pie star Jason Biggs has popped the question to his girlfriend, actress Jenny Mollen.

"It happened recently," he told Usmagazine.com Tuesday night at the Hollywood premiere of his new comedy Over Her Dead Body.

"He asked me over and over again ever since we met!" Mollen, 28, joked.

Said Biggs, 29: "I asked her the first night we met."

The two began dating this summer shortly before shooting their upcoming comedy My Best Friend's Girl.

Mollen admitted she was "skeptical" when she first met Biggs.

"I had never dated an actor before, so I'd kind of hoped to steer clear," she told Us. "I was sort of on the fence, and he sort of won me over."

So have they set a date?

" I think we're going to elope. We don't want to deal with all of the drama of dealing with my family," Biggs joked.

Grey's Cast: Ready to Get Back to Work

Wednesday June 13, 2007

Let the healing begin!

Now that ABC has confirmed that Isaiah Washington, 43, will not return to Grey's Anatomy next season (Us broke the story last month), his former colleagues are ready to put the past aside and start anew. (Washington set off a firestorm last year by using an antigay expression on-set.) "I choose to focus on what we can do to make things like this not happen again," Ellen Pompeo, 37, told Us at a June 9 benefit for LifeWorks, a gay and lesbian youth-mentoring organization.

But that doesn't mean there is any bad blood, says Jeffrey Dean Morgan, 41 (who played Denny). "I just saw Isaiah," he tells Us. "He's looking forward to new opportunities."

As for T.R. Knight, 34, the target of Washington's slurs, he can't wait to return to the set. He tells Us, "If you're an actor, it's very lucky to have work!"
